Desire responds to the need of sexual contact with a partner. It is directly related to the intensity perceived sexual needs. Feeling lust affects the stability and quality of the relationship. In addition to psychological factors, the level of our libido is also influenced by biological factors (hormones, health), as well as socio-cultural factors. Lowering the desire is otherwise reduced or lack of sexual needs (hypoactive sexual desire – HSD).
