Types of decreased libido
According to the International Society for Sexual Medicine disorders of libido in women can be divided into:
Subjective sexual arousal disorder
the absence or decreased feeling of excitement and sexual pleasure during any sexual stimulation.
Disorders of sexual arousal genital origin
Genital symptoms such as swelling of the genitals, the degree of vaginal lubrication, sensation in the genital area is reduced or absent.
Complex (subjective and genital origin), sexual arousal disorder
The woman did not feel or feel very little excitement or sexual pleasure during sexual stimulation. Moreover, the level of genital arousal is impaired.
Persistent sexual arousal
Spontaneous reactions by a woman occurrence of genital excitement eg. A sensation of tingling, throbbing, or desire. The status of such excitement can last for hours and sometimes even days.
